Reality check: Nigerian gyms deal with power cuts and network drops daily. GymProHub now handles both gracefully.
What works offline
- QR check-ins — the front-desk QR + local member cache means check-ins record instantly even with no network. They sync when you're back online.
- Member lookup — cached member roster on reception device.
- Class check-ins — booking confirmations queued locally.
- Payment reconciliation — manual payments record offline; only online card charges need the network.
How it works
GymProHub is a PWA (Progressive Web App). Install it on your reception iPad, Android tablet, or Windows front desk via the browser's "Add to home screen" prompt. The service worker caches your gym's shell + data. Actions queue in the background and sync via the browser's built-in Background Sync API.
Setup
Nothing to configure. Just install the app once on your front-desk device, and offline just works. Look for the small indicator at the top of the check-in screen — green means online, amber means queued.
Nigerian gym owners' favorite feature
We asked. This is the #1-mentioned feature after "the price" — because it means your gym stays open even when Enugu drops the grid.
